IMPLEMENTATION OF VBC AT AUB : :

Visual Byblos Cyberspace had been selected by the registrar’s office at the American University of

Beirut to do the job of digitalizing the whole amount of AUB registrar archives since it was founded in 1866.

The job of scanning, Indexing and importing the images of the transcript took a period of six months and was finished by the end of February 2003.

AUB registrar office can now access these transcripts through a press of a button. A query based on six selected keywords will be used to search for the student's transcripts.
